This system for authenticating digital prints will permit artists, photographers, printers and art galleries to ensure the identification and traceability of limited-edition works.
ARTtrust is the result of a partnership between Prooftag HP and their work with professionals in the art world who were faced with photographers’ needs to have their works recognised and legitimised. Within this global partnership, Prooftag has used its experience and know-how in the security field to develop a way of certifying limited-edition prints.
ARTtrust evolved from the art-TAG solution designed for unique works, and offers security measures for limited-edition art prints made on large-format HP Designjet printers with Vivera pigment inks. In addition to certifying the print’s authenticity, this solution enables manufacturers to guarantee a 200-year lifespan for their prints. Thanks to ARTtrust Online, an art print can become as rare and unique as a work created by the artist’s own hand.
