July 2009 – Morey Saint-Denis - Domaine Ponsot opts for the Prooftag Bubble Seal™ solution to secure its wine bottles.
The Domaine Ponsot was among the first wineries in Burgundy to start active actions against falsification and counterfeiting. After several actions like to remove suspicious bottles from the market, the winery has decided to have a pro-active defense in favor of the final customer. In order to make its bottles controllable by its consumers, wherever they are, the Domaine Ponsot has decided to ship all its Premiers Crus and Grands Crus bottles now protected with the Prooftag Bubble Seal. This protection implemented with a customized seal on the cap and the neck of the bottle assures that nobody has tried to open it before.
The Domaine Ponsot has opted for the Prooftag Bubble Seal to protect the incoming vintages as well as the old vintages still kept down in their cellars. With the Bubble Seal™ consumers around the world will be able to control by themselves the origin of the bottle through the web on PC or mobile phone and access to complementary information on the wine.
